yesh.. diden attend sch fur 3 daes.. all fur de sake of bio course.. wus it worth it? okay larhs.. acherlli come to tink of it.. it wus a rather nice xperience.. de T1 gerls wer vehh nice n frendly, diden make me feel too left out.. hey, if u guys r readin tis, thx.. heres wad i did durin de last 2 days:
Day 1
~met up wif hui xian, minqi,tracy n seow ken.. nice ppl.. we got acquainted quite fast n headed fur buona vista.. nobody knew de exact place, but wif our xcellent sense of direction, we reached der jus on tym
~basixcally, de whole place called biopolis is so woah.. its lyk one of dose metropolitan cities u see in sci-fi movies.. xcept tt its smaller..
sho infrastructurely-lyk.. felt so small lerhs..
~wen we came, we wer given dese cool tags wif sensors n we cud keep it fur de full 3 days..
~buden, de whole mornin of de firs dae wus damn boring.. lectures aft lectures.. i noe i saed i lurve german, but de german scientist wus 1 guy i will nvr relli lyk.. scarieee..
~had lunch at matrix wic wus de building beside wer we had our course, wic wus called Proteas.. yesh.. so BIO..ehehs.. btw, food wus rather ex n der wusen much choice of halal food..
~tings became more interestin wen we got our labcoats n did our xperiments.. woah felt so scientist-lyk xcept tt my coat wus rather too big fur me..
~my lab partner, alex, hes sorta playful typ.. sec 3 mah..ahahs.. my bench mates oso all quiet ppl, includin me arhs.. xcept alex of cours..
~ got to noe dem durin de looooong waitin hours.. n yesh.. i rmb deir names.. ahahs..my memory sho gut.. its jiemin, joanna, alex,jeremy n gary.. n ya.. not forgetin de TA, benjamin..
Day 2
~started out course at 9.. so ya.. wen evryone els is at sch, i wus still sleepin til 7.30..ahahs..
~we did our xperiments, learnt bout embryos, alot of repetitive processes und stuff..den..
~LUNCH!! yesh my fav part of de dae.. me n de bp gerls wer de only ones hu went to holland v fur lunch while de others ate at de matrix.. we took de biopolis bus n reached hollan v preety late..
~ so we gombled up our food n it wus drizzlin preety heavily.. so we ran in de rain to catch de 1.30 bus.. den we finally decided to walk back instead.. it wus about a 15-20 min walk/run..
~on de wae back uphill to de proteas buildin, we ran up..it wus sho cooling.. wif de rain n wind in ur face n cool green trees along de side of de rd.. aahhhs..
~course wus pretty interestin aft we tried to mate our zebrafisches.. one gerl almos cut off a fishes head wen she wanted to put de separator btween a pair of fish eew..it wus sho scariee.. but luckily it wus still alive larhs..
~on wae back, we all wanted to walk back buden seow ken n oders wanted to take de bus cos of sum1.. ahahs.. huixian..*winks*
~so we took de bus, it wus preety obvious lerhs.. tink he cud sorta guessed..ahahs..
~ n yesh.. my project werk wif my bench mates is not done yet.. gotta get to werk.. my bench mates n all still pretty awkward.. we all wanted to tok but most of de tym ended up starin at each oder.. ahahs..msn wud help but im not sure if i can concentrate wen im online..
